Happy Tails

We know in our hearts when we have made a difference in this world. Thank you donors for making it possible to save these beautiful pets.

Because of you their stories end with happy tails!

Meet Doc

Doc is a 3 ½ year old neutered male. His mom rescued him and his entire litter from an Amish farm. They had no food or water in 95-degree weather. Doc was not eating, drinking or acting himself. Mom was pretty sure he had ingested something (he had once before). Emergency exploratory surgery was needed to remove the “foreign body” and save his life.  A 5-foot-long piece of shiny holiday tree tinsel was removed from Doc’s intestines. His mom is very thankful for this fund and all who donated. She is on a mission to keep Doc busy with safe toys and enrichment activities while also keeping dangerous items out of his reach.

Meet George – The first PGSF recipient!

George arrived at the vet clinic blocked and purring. A blocked cat is unable to urinate and, without treatment he would continue to experience extreme pain and eventually die. His mom had $400. An unblocking at this clinic runs $800 – $1500. His mom applied for immediate assistance and because of our generous donors, sweet George was saved.
